How it works

Booking to pickup, start to finish

There is no equipment to figure out and nothing to assemble. Here is every step, including the parts most people want to know before they hand over a card.

We drop them off

Clean crates, dollies and reusable labels arrive on the morning you picked. Already assembled.

Pack and move

Stack them, label them, roll them. They lock together in the truck so your load rides tight.

We pick them up

Leave the empties by the door at your new place. We come get them. No flattened box pile.

What shows up

What is in the drop-off

Every package arrives as one tidy stack. Nothing needs building and nothing needs returning to a store.

  • The crates. Rigid polypropylene with attached lids and real handles. They hold roughly 60 pounds and they clear a standard interior doorway with room to spare.
  • Dollies. Flat four-wheel dollies that take a stack of crates in one push instead of six trips.
  • Reusable labels. Slide-in cards so you can write the room, change your mind, and reuse the card on the next crate.

The practical details

Timing

We ask for at least 48 hours notice and we deliver in the morning. The day before your drop-off you get a text with a window, and another when the driver is actually on the way. Same for pickup.

Where we put them

Wherever you want them, within reason. Ground floor, garage, a landing at the top of one flight of stairs. If you are in a building with a loading dock or a freight elevator that has to be reserved, tell us when you book and we will plan around it rather than finding out on the morning.

Stairs

Standard delivery is ground level: your door, your garage, or your building lobby. Stairs are not included, because carrying fifty loaded crates up a flight is a genuinely different job. We will do it for $5 per flight per 20 crates — tick the box when you book and it is priced into your total before you pay. Elevators and freight lifts do not count as stairs.

Packing

Load them like a suitcase, not like a box. Heavy things at the bottom, flat things upright, and stop filling before the lid has to fight you. The lids interlock, which is what lets you stack four high on a dolly without a strap.

Getting them back to us

Empty them, stack them, leave them by the door at your new place. You do not have to be home. Text us that they are ready and we will collect them inside your rental window.

If you need longer

Call or email before your window closes and we will extend at the same weekly rate. Nobody gets a penalty for unpacking slowly. Most people who extend do it because the new kitchen took longer than they thought, which is normal.
