What we collect
When you book, we collect your name, phone number, email address, delivery address, pickup address if it differs, your chosen dates and package, and any notes you add. We keep this because we need it to deliver crates to the right place at the right time.
We also collect standard website analytics, such as which pages were viewed and roughly where the visit came from. That data is aggregated and is not used to identify you personally.
Payment information
Card details are handled entirely by Stripe, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe stores a token so we can charge the agreed balance before your delivery, which you authorise at checkout. Stripe's own privacy policy governs that data.
How we use it
- To schedule, deliver and collect your rental
- To send your receipt, delivery window and pickup reminders
- To contact you if something about your booking changes
- To keep basic business records, as required
What we do not do
We do not sell your information, rent it, or share it with advertisers. We do not add you to a marketing list because you booked once. If we ever want to email you something that is not about your own order, we will ask first.
Who else sees it
Only the service providers we need to run the business: our website host, our email provider, Stripe for payments, and analytics. Each sees only what it needs. We may also disclose information where the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order records are kept for as long as we need them for accounting and warranty purposes, typically several years. You can ask us to delete information that we are not required to keep.
Cookies
The site uses cookies for basic functionality and analytics. You can block or clear cookies in your browser at any time. Nothing on this site requires advertising cookies to work.
Your choices
Email info@queencitycrates.com to see what we hold about you, correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will respond within a reasonable period.
